one stick of but...The potato leek clam soup recipe:<br />one stick of butter and melt in the pot you use for soup.<br />I initially microwave my potatoes to a few minutes before done to let them be soft.<br />mostly peel them (I like some peel and it has the most vitamins), then dice them. <br />this way they have shape yet are soft.<br />Chopped and clean the leeks (note the order, it is important).<br />Add potatoes (1 per person) to the melted butter and let them get just a bit brown (not dark)<br />Ad the leeks, stir often.<br />Add white wine (1 cup per potato), salt and black pepper.<br />Add the calms and juice from the clams(canned of course).<br />Add 1/2 cup of cream per potato and when it come to a boil add diced red pepper and parsley.<br />Serve hot!<br />Sometimes I have also added chicken broth. I love word challenge - and I enjoyed your...HI JOEY<br />I love word challenge - and I enjoyed your answers tremendously. <br />I a not a lamb fan - nope - so I wouldn't know if it was too dry, too whatever. :-) Now the potato leeksoup sounded really yummy and of course a hamburger is good any way, any day, any time. <br />And yup, Autumn is on top of us now and I love it and I love Winter too.
