For a moment the Cherry blosoms made this early,
long lasting Spring, a joy to behold
One quick storm and the flowers were all on the ground,
making a beautiful carpet for us to walk on.
Now, early Dogwood grace our eyes...

Two years ago I went to D.C. for the Cherry Blossom Festival. So gorgeous, all the monuments surrounded by the blooming trees. It was truly stirring. I have never looked at the blossoms the same again. Lovely pictures.
I love spring too with all these beautiful colors !
