I have 2 favorite TV shows, Bones and NCIS. Tonight, Booth ends one episode with surgery with the same kind of tumor i had. The location was different (or they did not say the location), but what ashock for me. Wow.
This was actually a 3 parter and all 3 showed the same night. They only told of the details, a four day coma, amnesia for a short while, double vision for a few weeks and disorientation. Booths hospital stay was not as long as mind and although he had some complications, they did not appear to be as major as mind. They did talk a bit about some brain changes that were long lasting. The show is generally very well researched and accurate (having worked with a forensic anthropologist before) so satisfied my need for realism. They did not miss a beat with the tumor thing either. I was riveted to my seat for 3 hours.

Well that episode must have hit close to home. I wonder how they will deal with it.
That is indeed shocking! You must be curious what they (the screen writers) will make of it!

That's kind of cool actually.
I only watch TV through DVD's, online viewing, and reruns on cable channels. I like NCIS but I'm more than a season behind you.
