Paper air planes

small and large,
drawn on and plain,
plain and lined,
carefully folded and folded again.
Thrown against the wind,
thrown with the wind.
They catch eddies and currents
and are blown about,
sailing high,
curving twisting in a gust,
gently falling to the ground
or crashing nose first.
What fun it was!
It made me think i was young again.

The simplest of play can make us feel young again. This makes me smile.
